Often times when we are on the look-out for a new job, someone to help us plan a wedding or even fix our computer we take to the web to locate people we don't know to help us get what we need. In this economy everyone is looking for a come-up, a side gig, a lil extra money on the side. Its best to make a list of the people you know and include on that list what it is they do and their contact information.
Why not hire someone you know to do the job you are looking for. I can rattle off in about 30 seconds someone I know that does graphic design, websites, event planning, weddings, insurance and so much more. If you refer people you know then they will more than likely refer you. This will help you and those around you to build a solid network and establish repeat clientele.
Your company have an opening, shop it around to your friends and acquaintances first. You never know who you may benefit. This lends true to thee old adage, "I'ts not what you know but WHO you know."
